A great deal of actors and actresses are struggling to make ends meet in LA and are spending their time on waiting tables instead of perfecting their craft. Because of this, several people in the entertainment business have now moved to other cities like Seattle, Washington and Albuquerque, New Mexico. One example are some women wanting to be models in LA realized that the Seattle models can make more money by getting work through a Seattle modeling firm than one in LA or New York.

LA and Hollywood, California have had a large population move there from all around the world if they want to try to make a living in the entertainment business . The population in Seattle is more youthful than most cities too and the entertainment business has really boomed here in the past 10-15 years with substantial donations made to the entertainment areas by Seattle mogul Bill Gates. Opportunities for theatre, modeling and some commercial work are plentiful and a fabulous way to get started in your field .

Albuquerque, New Mexico is now the new city to be in if you want to work in movies. In the past 5 years, several movies have been shot in this location due to the lower cost of housing a facility and the price of access to magnificent open land here too . Many movie studio warehouses have been put up in this location and because it is so much cheaper to film in this state than in California it has been a popular decision to do so for many film directors and producers. Many people working in films behind the scenes have learned of this fact and have now moved to Albuquerque permanently and are getting more work than they know what to do with .

The lower cost of living in New Mexico allows those that are making films or even acting in films to live luxuriously for a low price and the views are pretty spectacular too . Major motion picture actress Julia Roberts spends as much time as she can on her ranch in New Mexico and several actors are following her lead .
